What type of food should we eat to increase our stamina?

Stamina or endurance is the ability of an organism to exert itself and remain active for a long period of time. To increase stamina you need to increase Vitamin C, Iron and Calcium, Healthy fat, Complex Carbohydrates and Protein intake so that you won’t exhaust.

Here are some foods by which we can improve our stamina and have an active body:

1. Green Vegetables: Green leafy vegetables have lots of fibre and are also rich in Vitamin C. The fibre keeps you full and Vitamin C is an energy-boosting nutrient.

2. Soybean: Soybean is essentially a muscle-building nutrient. It increases muscle strength that gives you the stamina to work out for a long period of time or do physical work.

3. Beetroot Juice: Beetroot juice can be called a ‘fatigue killer’. You need to have a glass full of beetroot juice before your workout to extend the duration of physical exercise. Beetroot has Vitamins A and C that build stamina.

4. Cordyceps (fungus): This mushroom is known for being very stimulating — for both energy and the libido. Described as a natural exercise mimetic, Cordyceps

is thought to improve performance by increasing blood flow, enhancing oxygen utilization, and acting as an antioxidant.
