What should be included in a regular diet to increase immunity?

Immunity is the ability of the body to defend itself from ‘foreign bodies’. This means rejecting infections, clearing up dust that gets in the lungs and killing cancer cells.

Immunity can be increased by many methods like — Eating healthy, exercising daily, quit smoking, etc.

I recently when surfing on the internet found that there is a superfood — Cordyceps, it is a natural fungus commonly known as Himalayan Gold because it is often farmed in the Himalayan plateaus which are very effective in increasing immunity.

I also found that Cordyceps militaris is a mushroom traditionally used for pharmaceutical purposes in East Asia and has been found to be effective for enhancing immunity.

It is now proved that the immune system functions well with Cordyceps supplementation, perhaps with less accompanying inflammation.

Thus it is safe and effective for enhancing cell-mediated immunity in healthy adults.
